Legal Aid for Disaster Survivors

TRLA provides free legal services to low-income disaster survivors facing legal problems such as replacing lost documents, filing appeals when the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has denied aid, and handling insurance claims. Survivors seeking legal aid should call our hotline between 9 am and 5 pm Monday through Friday. TRLA has also posted links, and created fact sheets and videos that explain your legal rights and options as a disaster survivor (see below).
