Our Commitment to Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. To better protect your privacy we provide this notice explaining our information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used.

The Information We Collect

This notice applies to all information collected during the donation process to TRLA. The types of information often collected are: Name, Address, Email, Phone Number, and Credit/Debit Information.

You have the option of donating in memory or honor of someone, and, therefore, would need to submit information about that person. For example, if you make a gift online in honor of someone and want an acknowledgment sent directly to that person, you will need to submit that person’s address. In this circumstance, the types of personal information often collected are: Name, Address, and Email.

Our Commitment to Data Security

To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

The Way We Use Information

We use the information you provide about yourself when donating to process your donation and correspond with you regarding TRLA. We never share your contact information with outside parties.

The only exception to this is when we publicize the names (NOT amounts or contact information) of donors in our communication materials. However, a donor has the option to donate anonymously, in which case your name would never appear in any of our materials or website.

If you have any questions about this policy, or would like to review the personal information we have collected and request corrections, please contact Geoff Rips at grips@trla.org.
