Pro Bono Immigration Referral Network

The sudden influx of unaccompanied minors from Central America has created a need for dedicated volunteers who can help with their immigration cases including actions filed in state court. TRLA primarily assists with T (Trafficking) and U (Victims of Crimes) Visas so we are always looking for resources in those cases. If your practice involves other forms of relief, please consider signing up and we will forward your information to the appropriate immigration legal services provider.

Hurricane Harvey Disaster Relief

Leer en español

Please support our work by contributing through the donation page, accessed through the “Donate” button below.

In addition to the 23,000 cases TRLA attorneys take on each year for low-income Texans, TRLA has organized legal assistance for Hurricane Harvey survivors all along the Texas Gulf Coast–including Corpus Christi, Rockport, and Port Aransas. TRLA is running a disaster relief hotline for survivors to call for legal assistance and advice. Every low-income survivor needing legal assistance will receive it. This requires a large investment of TRLA’s financial resources that includes hiring dozens more attorneys to appeal denials of FEMA aid and insurance claims, handle the inevitable repair scams, and in other ways help tens of thousands of low-income Texans who have lost vital documents, homes and employment.

Meanwhile, our work continues on behalf of survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, veterans, low-income renters and home owners, victims of discrimination, farmworkers and other low-wage workers, colonia residents, victims of consumer fraud, and many others.
