Labor & Management Law: Displaced Workers
The goal of the Displaced Workers Law Team is to protect the rights of workers in the contract sewing and garment industry who have employment-related cases, including wage claims, employment discrimination, work-related injuries, violations of federal labor laws, wrongful discharge, and access to unemployment benefits and state and local job training benefits.

The Labor & Management Law: Displaced Workers Team
The Objectives
- Conduct outreach and education with unions and in public places to help displaced workers.
- In cases of plant closures, help workers receive retraining provision from the Federal Government.
Our Activities
- Represent displaced workers in administrative matters.
- Represent injured workers at the Division of Workers Comp on an administrative level.
- Advocate on behalf of displaced workers.
