• American Bar Association Standards of Practice for Lawyers Representing Victims of Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault and Stalking in Civil Protection Orders
• American Bar Association Standards for Providers of Civil Legal Services to the Poor.

Case Acceptance Priorities:

1. Victims of recent domestic violence refused services by local prosecutors for a Protective Order:
2. Shelter residents who are victims of recent domestic violence;
3. Recent domestic violence victims in divorce and/or custody disputes;
4. Referrals from sister agencies to assist victims of domestic violence; and,
5. Parents v. Non-Parents, if the parent is a victim of domestic violence or the parent is required by a court or state agency to obtain a divorce to maintain or regain custody.
