The Economic and Social Justice: Tax Law Team
T-TAP's tax practitioners represent low-income taxpayers in controversies with the IRS at all administrative levels of the IRS, in U.S. Tax Court, in Federal District Court, and in the Federal Court of Claims. Issues range from audits, appeals, collections, worker misclassification, identity theft, and refund claims, among others.
In addition, T-TAP staff produces tax-related educational materials in Spanish and English for distribution to taxpayers and other service providers, lectures at Continuing Legal Education events, and conducts outreach to taxpayers for whom English is a second language to educate them about their federal income tax rights and responsibilities.
For more information about T-TAP, please contact Linda Paulson at 512-374-2744 or visit the T-TAP website.
